Taking its name from a Daniel Schuyler poem, Golden Hill is located South of Balboa Park and East of Downtown.  Golden Hill features a number a of 19th century single family homes and is an architecturally significant San Diego neighborhood.  Golden Hill has long been a community that has attracted artists and musicians with several of San Diego's more noteworthy recording studios including Blackbox (now Iacon) and Habitat being located in Golden Hill.
