Located east of Black Mountain Ranch and west of Poway is Carmel Mountain Ranch.  Carmel Mountain Ranch is one of the more significant edge cities in the Greater San Diego area.  Originally named for the Carmelite Sisters of Mercy who operated a dairy farm in the area, Carmel Mountain Ranch was approved for development in 1984.

Today, Carmel Mountain Ranch is one of the largest submarkets for office space in Southern California and is the site of several large commercial and government operations including Carvin Corporation and the 1,500 person Margaret L. Sellers Processing and Distribution Center operated by the United States Postal Service.  In addition to being a a robust commercial center, there are over 10,000 full-time residents of Carmel Mountain Ranch.  Housing consists primarily of single family residences however there are also multifamily apartments and condominiums.  Our property management services are available throughout Carmel Mountain Ranch.
